Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Rubius Therapeutics is creating life-changing cellular therapies for people living with rare metabolic and inflammatory disorders, cancer and autoimmune diseases.

Rubius launched their first clinical trial for PKU in late 2019, with The Experience Design Studio creating the company’s initial digital infrastructure for clinical trial recruitment. The comprehensive ecosystem has included websites, HIPAA-compliant CRM and database in Salesforce, paid social activities and search campaigns across Google and Facebook, and have continued to support and enhance the website since along with paid, organic and social efforts. Built on top of a secure content management system with a HIPAA-compliant CRM, Rubius’ Clinical Trials website was designed with scale and growth in mind, while providing up-to-date patient information and means to enroll. The PKU trial is the first of Rubius’ clinical trials endeavors, with more specialty areas being rolled out in 2020, 2021 and beyond.
In addition to helping Rubius launch its clinical trials program, The Experience Design Studio has been supporting Rubius Therapeutics across its entire digital ecosystem since early 2019 following a competitive bid, having launched the company’s first award-winning intranet, providing digital careers recruiting support for its Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Smithfield, Rhode Island locations, and much more.
